Trash Polka is back with a brand new set, and ready to start rocking the west Wales music scene, starting with a Halloween Howler at The Alma, Bufferland in Pembroke Dock on Saturday, November 2.
Bringing you covers from the best rock bands around, such as Guns ‘N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine and so much more, Trash Polka will you rocking the night away!
This Pembrokeshire covers band comprises of four accomplished musicians, with our very own Tamsin Mathias on vocals and rhythym guitar, Lee Goodrick on lead guitar, Dave Crew on bass and Mal Connolly on drums.
Tamsin is a Milford girl with a huge pair of lungs and a versatile voice. From belting out songs by Foo Fighters, Paramore, Nirvana and Guns ‘N’ Roses, to sweetly singing Evanescence’s Bring Me To Life, this frontwoman proves that girls can be just as good as all the male rockers around.
On lead guitar is hugely talented Lee Goodrick, twanging away on his guitar the famous solos we all love. From complicated Slash solos to the ‘wah-wah’ sounds of Rage Against The Machine, it seems there’s nothing this guy can’t play.
Dave Crew, known locally as Dock legend Scrubber, is always there to bring you those filthy bass lines you all love. Scrubber clearly loves being on stage, and his interaction with his fellow band mates shows it.
And last but by no means least, the friendly face at the back belongs to none other than Malcolm Connolly – the funny monkey of the band. It seems as though this guy hates his top half being clothed, but nonetheless, Mal is an exceptional drummer and manages to perform the most complicated of drum patterns.
